City Tour of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky
The tour unfolds a captivating story of the heroic past of the Petropavlovsk city: defense against the English-French squadron during the Crimean War, liberation movement during the Civil war, the heroic deeds of the Kamchatka citizens who liberated the Kuril islands. The tour will take you to the monuments honoring the discoverers of Kamchatka, its defenders, Great Patriotic war heroes. You will also visit the viewing platform at the Nikolskaya Sopka (Hill).

2 DAY: DAY FOR OPTIONAL TOURS

3 DAY: A SEA TRIP TO THE RUSSKAYA (RUSSIAN) BAY
Breakfast at guest house.
Boat trip to Starichkov Island.
Duration of excursion day-6 hours. the 6-hour trip to Starichkov Island (we will see sea lions, seals, bird markets, but not killer whales and whales; we’ll go fishing; we’ll go by motor boat to the cave grottoes, weather permitting).
Lunch on board: fish product.
Return to the guest house.
Dinner at guest house.

4 DAY: ETHNOGRAPHIC PROGRAM VISITING THE KAINYRAN CAMP
Breakfast at the guest house.
Ethnographic program — visiting the Kainyran camp (in Koryak it means a bear’s house).
The museum’s fur yaranga will show life and tell about the life of Aboriginal people, visitors will plunge in the ethnic world of the ancient peoples of Kamchatka, they will take part in workshops on weaving from birch bark, sewing with beads.The guide will offer you a visit to the aviary with bears living in the camp and the kennel of sled dogs (more than 200 tails).
Lunch “uha” (fish soup) and tea in the atmospheric dining room of the ethnic village, plus a small culinary master class in a yurt will be held there (a Koryak woman will bake cakes and treat them all).

5 DAY: RAFTING AND FISHING IN THE BYSTRAYA (RAPID) RIVER
Breakfast at the guest house.
Departure by KAMAZ vehicle to the village Malka.
Adjustment of the rafting equipment. Safety instructions, light snacks and tea.
Rafting trip with stops for fishing (fishing equipment provided).
You will witness truly amazing landscapes unfolding in front of you. It is here where Sredinny Range begins. You will have time bird watching and provided luck is on your side, will maybe even spot a bear.
Picnic during on the stops ashore.
Rafting trip continues.
After the rafting trip the transfer will take you to the Malkin hot springs for bathing .
Return to the guest house.

During the rafting, equipment is provided (saved vests, oars, etc., several spinning rods for fishing), safety training is mandatory, every trained raft has a trained instructor. Insurance is not included in the price, it can be issued additionally. At the same time, it is important to pay attention that rafting on Bystry is rather a walking format event, which does not imply extreme sports and overcoming serious thresholds.

6 DAY: EXCURSION TO THE FOOT OF THE AVACHINSKY VOLCANO AND THE OCEAN SHORE
Breakfast at the guest house.
Leave by off-road vehicles or KAMAZ vehicle to the foot of the Avachinsky Volcano.
Free time to explore the location, walk to Verblyud (Camel) mountain. Ascension of the mountain.
Verblyud, nowadays a nature monument, is situated on the pass between the volcanoes Avachinsky and Koryaksky. It is small rock massif with two pointed peaks. The mountain was formed as the result of the eruption of two neighboring volcanoes — Avachinsky and Koryaksky. During the volcanic activity the moving earth’s crust prompted a huge crack to ooze lava which later formed the mountain.
Picnic-lunch.
Return to the vehicles and leave for Khalaktyrsky beach.
Free time on this picturesque beach with black sand and a walk to the tundra. Enjoy the views of the volcanoes, the ocean and the nearest rocks. (subject to fine weather).
Transfer to the guest house.

7 DAY: PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY
